Cyanogen OS apps get ported to Cyanogenmod

A portion of the Cyanogenmod community thought of the formation of Cyanogen, Inc. as a departure of what they stood for. Others saw commercialization of a great Android ROM as progress. After some time technically apart, they’re apparently coming back together (well, one is coming to the other) in a very, very small way.

The C-Apps suite has been made available to Cyanogenmod users. It contains six apps:

  • AudioFX enables 24-bit Lossless Audio listening and is an effects module
  • Theme Chooser & Themes Store
  • Dialer with Truecaller with “robust caller ID included”
  • a Gallery app that brings photos from all the services you use, sorts them and removes duplicates
  • Cyanogen Account gives basic security features
  • Email Power by Boxer

Make sure that you have Cyanogenmod version 12.1 and you’re all set to flash the apps.
