Update: If there was a need for a new render from a different angle, in order to blow away any doubts on the QWERTY slider bit, Evan Blass has got us covered with this latest render (at the bottom)

The BlackBerry Venice managed to generate a lot of buzz, mainly because it would, according to many, bring the “both of both world”, with Android on-board. According to the most recent Evan Blass leak, the BlackBerry Venice is not only real, but it is expected to become official in November, when it will be released on all four national US carriers.

It is not yet clear what the BlackBerry Venice will be once announced, but the general consensus is that it will be a slide-up QWERTY phone, filling in the gap which exists, and which Samsung is also trying to fill in with its latest keyboard cover for the new Galaxy S6 edge+.

If you’re not totally sold, until the above-mentioned November date, make sure to read our take on why the world needs an Android BlackBerry, and do let us know of your thoughts on the QWERTY slider bit.
