Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus case renders reveal dimensions
The amount of rumors surrounding the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is crazy. There’s still a strong debate over how many variants of the Galaxy Note will be launched, and the purpose of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus in a mixed launch with the Galaxy Note 5. Those of you scrambling to see which option will better address your needs are in for a treat of information today.
Case maker ITSKINS has just revealed a couple of renders of the next phablets that Samsung will launch. First of all, it seems that the Galaxy Note 5 will be a stand-alone product, with no Edge variant to keep it company. Those of you waiting for a larger display than its predecessor might be disappointed, as the leaked dimensions of 153.3mm x 76.1mm x 7.9mm don’t seem to fit a display larger than the current 5.7-inches. The renders don’t seem to reveal a removable back, but the stylus silo is available, and it could also be that Samsung might use the SIM tray to fit expandable storage, though just as a matter of speculation.
It seems that if you want an Edge phablet, you’ll need to stick to the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Dimensions claim that it’ll be 154.4mm x 75.8mm x 6.9mm, and its design strictly resembles that of the Galaxy S6. Other differences with the Note 5 also continue to be lesser specs in the case of this phablet.
Rumors point to an early announcement of these new smartphones, but time will tell.
