Microsoft Lumia 735 becomes available for purchase in Verizon stores
It was last month when Verizon Wireless kicked off sales of Microsoft’s Lumia 735 smartphone through its web portal, and now it’s ready to move the Windows Phone device into its brick-and-mortar stores across the nation. The phone isn’t going to be any different than it was when it went live for online orders way back in June, though there’s no denying that it’s far more convenient for many to go to the store than to order a device (often having to deal with confusing plan changes and strange fees) and then wait for it to be shipped to your home.
The Lumia 735, if you opt to subscribe to a two-year Verizon Wireless contract, will run you right around 30 US dollars. You can also get it through Verizon Edge with 0% APR and an $8 monthly payment that you’ll continue to pay for 24 months. One of the perks of going this route is that Verizon, for a limited time, will give you $100 bill credit for each phone number you port to Verizon and then activate on a Verizon Edge payment plan. The Lumia 735 also comes with support for multi-colored wireless charging back accessories – orange, green, white, red, and cyan are your color choices.
