HTC One M9+ details arrive as promo materials leak
HTC looks to be on the roll lately, with the announcement of the One E9+, One M8s, and the Taiwanese 64GB variant of the One M9. There’s still at least one phone to look out for; it’s been rumored, it’s been leaked, and now more HTC One M9+ details arrive thanks to some leaked promotional materials.
Tentatively leaked in yesterday’s renders, the HTC One M9+ is also subject to an April 8 event in Beijing. Following the same visual style are today’s three promotional slides leaked, showing off various aspects of the upcoming phone. They emphasize on the screen, build (materials as well as the duotone finish), and the home button, which has absolutely no other reason for existence except that it will most likely contain a fingerprint scanner, a la Galaxy S5, S6, and the iPhones.
Not much else is known about the mysterious HTC One M9+, but rumor has it that it will be confined to Asian markets, with its 64-bit MediaTek chip (or the Snapdragon 810, depending on the report), 3GB of RAM, 5.2-inch Quad HD display, and a DuoCamera setup (20.7 MP plus a 2.1 MP sensor).
Good thing is that April 8 is just around the corner, so we’ll probably stop speculating and seeing more and more leaks. However, if this phone is legit, let us know of your thoughts, specifically whether you think this is what the M9 should have been.
