Lumia 535 rumored specs detailed as we look forward to tomorrow’s news
Tomorrow is November 11, which means that the Microsoft launch announcement we saw teased late last week is just about to happen. The company’s excited about showing off Microsoft-Lumia-branded handsets, dropping Nokia once and for all, but just what can we expect to see launch? One likely prospect is the Lumia 535, understood to be a mid-range device. As we wait to get confirmation of Microsoft’s launch news, some newly detailed Lumia 535 specs have leaked, attempting to clue us in on what we’ve got to look forward to.
Let’s start with the screen, a healthy enough five-inch size, but with a quite low qHD resolution. The 535 may be powered by a Snapdragon 200, but at least it would offer a full gigabyte of RAM. For storage options, we’re hearing just 8GB (though with microSD expansion helping out), and power could come from a 1905mAh battery.
Don’t expect any PureView action here, with the rear camera maxing out at 5MP. At least the front-facer could be interesting, also getting a 5MP sensor (though possibly not a lens setup with focus control). Other purported details for this dual-SIM handset include an 8.8-mm-thick build and a mass of 146 grams.
The Lumia 535 isn’t the only possibility we’ve been considering for tomorrow, but is sounding like it has one of the better chances to appear. Check back with us on Tuesday for full details of all of Microsoft’s Lumia announcements.
