Motorola Power Pack Micro: unboxing and first impressions (Video)
One of the accessories that Motorola launched alongside the new Moto X and G was the Motorola Power Pack Micro, a 1,500 mAh battery pack with a bit of a twist. You see, the Motorola Power Pack Micro isn’t any ole juice pack in that it’ll be a rectangular slab, but is rather meant to ride on your keychain – intuitive, yes? We’ve gone ahead and unboxed our review unit, sharing our first impressions as well, so be sure to check that out down below.
The thing about the Power Pack Micro is that it also allows for connectivity to a smartphone via Bluetooth. This works twofold – if you were to lose your phone within a range of 100 feet, your Power Pack Micro can make it ring until you find it. The second use-case is if you’ve lost your keys, in which case the smartphone app can make the Power Pack go crazy. Our own Adam Doud explained it best in his first impressions piece on Motorola’s new accessories, so give that a read if you were wondering more (including pricing and availability details).
