iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 to be launched on September 9?

It’s pretty much confirmed that Apple will announce its next generation iPhone 6 on its September 9 event. We’ve even heard some interesting rumors that Apple will also launch the iWatch at the same time. What we weren’t prepared for was for is for some rumors that claim that Apple plans to do the same with the iPad Air 2.

KGI Securities is claiming various things about Apple’s September 9th event. Among these is that Apple is planning to announce the new iPad Air at this event, and not in October as Apple has done historically. Up to this point there were no credible rumors that pointed to a date, but given Apple’s press invitation stating, “We wish we could say more,” anything can happen. The report also goes as far as to mention that the 128GB model of both iPhone 6 variants is confirmed, though we don’t know how Apple plans to handle these when it comes to pricing.

Apple’s September 9 could be packed with a ton of announcements, something that’s not common for Apple, so stay tuned as we cover everything for you live.
