Metal construction. A Kirin 925 SoC. 4100mAh of battery capacity. Spec, by spec, Huawei captivated us in Berlin earlier today as it announced its Ascend Mate 7. We grabbed a hold of this latest flagship phablet and slipped away from the show floor to give the Mate 7 a little one-on-one attention for a Pocketnow unboxing video.
Once the hustle and bustle of IFA dies down, we’ll be bringing you a full review of the Mate 7, and that’s a good thing, as it’s going to take quite a bit of time to give all the features Huawei has baked-in here the attention they need. Will that fingerprint scanner really wow us with its high-res sensor and accurate identification? And will that gigantic battery really last for as long, and under the kind of heavy use, as Huawei is claiming?
We will find out soon, but for now we’re just taking a quick look at the hardware and its packaging. Click on the embed below to find out what we got to see.
