One of the biggest mysteries that surrounds Apple’s September 9th event, is what to expect for the iPhone 6 phablet that’s been rumored. Most of the leaks we’ve seen in both parts and mockups have been focused on the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, and that makes sense since it begun mass production a couple of weeks ago. It’s hard to predict if Apple does have anything ready for September 9 when it comes to the 5.5-inch model, but new images and videos have might shed some light.
Today we see a leaked video of what is supposed to be the back shell of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6. It’s hard to predict if this is the real deal because there’s really nothing to compare it with. At this point all we can do is believe in what the source claims this to be, and if this is the iPhone 6 phablet, then it’s clear that there are no differences between this model and the smaller 4.7-inch iPhone 6.
Apple is set to unveil both iPhone 6 models and the iWatch on its event on September 9. It could be that Apple might hold this launch until December, and just give us the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 on the last week of September, or we might be in for a surprise. We’ll keep you posted as more information emerges.
