Even though we’re pretty much settled on a probable iPhone 6 event on September 9, most of the rumors around claim that we’ll only see the 4.7-inch iPhone being announced. The reports even claim that we’ll see the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 until December, along with the iWatch as well. At this point it’s hard to know what rumors to believe, but some credible sources chime in with new data.
Most of the credible Apple leaks have always come from the Wall Street Journal, but given the fact that Re/code hired most of its tech news team, we can safely say that this is another credible source as well. Re/code’s John Paczkowski has just reported that Apple plans to unveil its iWatch along with both iPhone 6 models on September 9. Paczkowski also claims that the iWatch will be the missing link that we’ve all noticed while using HealthKit on the beta of iOS 8, and apparently we can expect the same to happen with HomeKit as well.
It’s hard to predict if Apple will also launch these products to the public on September 19 as we reported earlier, but we can also assume a separate launch, with the iPhone 6 phablet and the iWatch slated for December. What we do know is that iOS 8 will be launched officially on either of these dates as well.
