If you’ve noticed, we don’t pay much attention to the literature that comes with each smartphone that we unbox. Surely if this is your first smartphone, the best way to start is with the user manual, but more than a few of us have been there and done that a couple of times already. Apple would be on the list of companies that provides you with the least amount of literature possible, but these documents can be quite revealing if leaked ahead of time.
If you’ve followed Apple launches over the last couple of years, you’ll notice that the launch date of its products is always used either on the device’s display during the event, or on the literature that is provided with the device when shipped. Today we find some leaks of the iPhone 6’s user manual, and in addition to leaking the design of the device; you can also see that the date on the mock-up’s screen is September 9.
Sadly not much can be said about the design except for the placement of the hardware buttons, but the fact that this document mentions September 9 is a clear indication of the possible announcement date to expect, which also matches that of previous leaks. The only odd part of this manual is that we’ve never seen Apple publish these in black and white, so let’s see just how real this is with more leaks to come.
