The Internet is flooded with leaks of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, be it in mockups, or in photos of some parts here and there, but it’s extremely rare to find 5.5-inch iPhone 6 leaks. There is some sense to this, as rumors claim that only the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is being manufactured at the moment, and with the 5.5-inch model starting production until later this year. Still, Apple is known for being unpredictable every now and then, and new leaks claim that there is progress with the 5.5-inch model.
New leaked photos show us the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 rear shell being compared against its 4.7-inch sibling. If you were expecting to see any differences, sadly that’s not the case here, as both shells seem to be identical to each other. This is expected from Apple, as we do notice that the company’s computer and tablet lineup share the same design across different size variations.
It’s hard to predict if Apple will announce this 5.5-inch iPhone 6 along with the 4.7-inch model on September 9th, but we do know that this bigger brother could see the light of day until December, along with the iWatch.
