We’ve been steadily hearing rumors of Nokia’s Lumia 730, or “Superman,” as an early leak of codenames had it. Now we’ve been handed a behemoth of info in a full Nokia Lumia 730 specs leak, which pretty much confirms this device’s midranger status.
The phone will allegedly house a 4.7-inch display with a likely FWVGA (854 x 480), but possibly 720p resolution. It’ll have 1GB of RAM, a quad-core processor with an unknown make and clock speed (though it’s likely a Snapdragon 400 between 1.6 and 1.7 GHz), 8GB of internal storage, and expansion through microSD up to an extra 128 GB.
As for cameras, Tom Warren of The Verge reports that the main (rear-facing) camera will have a 6.1MP sensor, and there’ll be a 5MP (selfies anyone?) front camera allegedly. This’ll be another dual SIM phone, says WPCentral, likely meaning it’s mainly targeted at developing markets, and the weight is unknown at this point in time.
This Lumia 73x series could include just a Lumia 730, or a 730 and 735 (like we saw with the 63x series). In any case, we’re expecting a Fall 2014 launch, meaning the phone will either run Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 or 2. Anyone here looking to pick one up for their personal collection?
