HTC’s focus lately has shifted over to mid-range phones, having released the One mini 2 and Desire 610 just recently, and it looks like even more additions to the Desire family are in order. If information from incredibly reliable tipster @evleaks is to be believed, an HTC Desire 510 Sprint release could be in the cards and coming soon.
Since the Desire 510 has not even launched globally, we’re at a loss for what exactly we should expect from this phone. Being part of the Desire series implies that it’s a mid-ranger, though, so that’s pretty much for granted.
The only real source of speculation is last year’s strategy for HTC — the Desire 500 was similar to the 600 in its processor, but lost screen size, storage, and BoomSound. While speculation of this sort is a stretch no matter how you put it, it’s possible that the 510 could be very similar to the 610 which we just reviewed.
No additional details are provided by @evleaks, though, so we’re left anxiously awaiting further leaks and a possible official announcement for the Desire 510. What say you though, readers — would a mid-range HTC Desire 510 Sprint debut tickle your fancy?
