Ever since the Sony Xperia Z2 came out, we’ve been wondering about details surrounding a move into United States territory. Sony historically hasn’t been too prompt, with examples like the T-Mobile Xperia Z1S for show. That said, several images have hit the internet straight from Sony showing a Verizon Z2 — could this be happening? Today, a leaked Verizon document shows us that it’s likely that a Sony Xperia Z2 Verizon release is imminent.
It’s been many months since its release, but the Xperia Z2 is still no slouch. As evidenced by our review, it stacks up well against the HTC One M8 and Galaxy S5 (as well as the LG G3, which came out after the Z2) and offers a compelling overall package. Along with its premium build, it has specs such as a Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM.
In case you just can’t wait for the Z2 to hit Big Red’s network, you may find yourself interested in the unit we’re currently giving away in collaboration with dbrand — the full details are at that link.
There’s no word when this possible Sony Xperia Z2 Verizon release could happen, but we hope it’s soon — we know many of you have been waiting anxiously.
