As we mentioned earlier, Sony has been doing a very good job in launching some very compelling products to the market. Sadly most of these products are focused on the Asian and European markets instead of the US, but that doesn’t mean that the company isn’t pushing the bar in design and innovation. We’re just a couple of months away from IFA in Berlin, and if you’re wondering what we might see, the rumors have begun.
If you all remember, the previous leaks of a model number D6503 all pointed to what we now know as the Sony Xperia Z2, and now we get a codename D6653, which clearly points to the successor of the recently-launched flagship. We don’t know any specifics of what to expect, but we can safely assume that this will be the Sony Xperia Z3, or some sort of variant that brings continuity to the Xperia Z line-up that’s already giving people something to talk about.
If Sony is planning to keep six-month cycles with its Xperia line-up, as we’ve seen with the Xperia Z, Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z2, than IFA 2014 is the even you should be looking forward to.
