Final iOS 8 build to bring full manual camera controls?

Even though we received a general rundown of the hottest things that iOS 8 will offer to consumers at its WWDC event, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Apple revealed everything at its announcement, or that beta 1 and 2 reveal everything. It’s quite common for Apple to cram new features in its full release notes, and its also common for Apple to change its mind about a couple of things in the final release build of its OS updates, which is apparently going to be the case with iOS 8.

At the moment iOS 8 beta 1 and 2 have shown us new camera features, like the option to set a timer for your respective selfie, but apparently Apple won’t end things there. Reports have it that the iOS 8 SDK will include options for developers to control everything from shutter speed to ISO, aside from additional camera controls for more accurate camera applications. It’s hard to tell if Apple will use these same SDK features on its own camera app, but this clearly will allow third party applications to do a better job than they currently do.

Obviously this is just a report, we should learn more about what iOS 8 offers in the next coming weeks as new betas and SDKs get offered to developers.
