One of the best features of the LG G Pro 2 was its unique Knock Code feature, allowing users to unlock their phones using one of 86,367 tap combinations instead of traditional PIN codes or passwords. Users of the AT&T LG G2 are finally now receiving this feature on their smartphones.
A 39MB update brings Knock Code, along with enhancements to Exchange Active Sync (EAS) and the Calendar. The update, version D80020u, requires WiFi to install according to AT&T, and should be pushing out via FOTA (Firmware Over-the-air) to all AT&T G2 owners.
The Android version number remains at 4.4.2, as it’s still likely too early for LG to have integrated the Android 4.4.3 changes into their custom skin.
