Spotify Premium gets smarter, download everything with one tap

Spotify has proven to be one of the better solutions for music streaming in the market. We’ve seen the significant dent that it’s making to iTunes in Europe, and just recently we’ve also seen how the company has revamped the UI in order to make it more elegant across platforms. Today the changes to the application continue, and it’s definitely worth your time to upgrade.

Spotify has just pushed a security update for Android users, and has also offered an update for iOS customers which now gives you a “make available off-line” toggle on your songs. Instead of having to go through every single playlist downloading the songs that you wanted, you can now download everything with a simple tap. Of course for this option to be available, you do have to be a Spotify Premium subscriber, which is obvious.

This service will allow you to download 3,333 songs per device and keep them on your device for 30 days. Hard to know what’s so special about that number full of threes, but it’s better than nothing.
