Could this leaked photo be of the actual housing of the iPhone 6?

It’s hard to predict if we’re still months away from the iPhone 6 launch, or if we’re just a couple of days away from it. WWDC is right around the corner, and we’re already seeing that we’ll definitely get a glimpse of iOS 8 at the event through recent leaks. The question is, are we getting a new iPhone? Leaked photos already show some progress in the design.

We get some leaked photos of the iPhone 6 back, and contrary to previous leaks, these photos actually have a well-machined finish in the back. You’ll notice that the camera holes and even a hole for the Apple logo are there. That later one is actually quite interesting, as Apple has only drilled the Apple logo on previous models of the iPad. It’s hard to tell if the company plans to do the same with it, which is to use it for certain specific antennas, but it could also be a smart place to leave an NFC chip, or even a wireless charging coil.

There are a ton of rumors of what to expect with this design, and the more we see it, the more credible it becomes.
