The Oppo N1 Mini is the not-so-mini variant of the existing Oppo N1, which received some moderate fame for its flipping camera and for being the first phone to launch with an option for CyanogenMod out of the box. The company made it official that we should expect the Oppo N1 Mini to launch shortly, though if you were interested in having a look at the goods early, today is the time.
We get the first leaked photos of the device, this time in Yellow, and if you were wondering if there were any design changes, there really aren’t. Rumors point to its specifications being of a crazy 5-inch 720p HD display, 13 MP camera with LED flash, LTE support and a 2,140 mAh battery. Obviously the biggest news here is the fact that this would actually be the first “mini” phone in the market, that’s anything but mini with its display size.
It’s hard to tell if either this model or its larger sibling will reach any US carrier at any point, but if not, at least Oppo should be nice enough to give us that flipping camera on a model that does.
