LG’s G Pro Lite from October must have been at least a partial success, because the company has seemingly seen enough demand to justify a successor. We are now seeing an alleged LG G Pro 2 Lite make its way through the FCC, with Verizon-supporting radios in tow.
The model number for the G Pro 2 Lite on Verizon will be the VS880, according to the FCC documents. The AT&T variant will be the D631, and the Sprint one will be the LS885.
The specs are mediocre to say the least. We are looking at 1 gigabyte of RAM, 8 gigabytes of internal storage, and a 8-megapixel camera. The unit does, however, sport a 3200 mAh battery, which should be enough for all of your intense endurance needs on such otherwise-low-end hardware. We are also expecting a Snapdragon 400 SoC and 720p display.
Availability and pricing details are not currently known to us, though we will update you as we learn more.
