Future Nokia X will apparently have a smarter home button

The Nokia X hasn’t necessarily taken the world by storm, but then again, Nokia wasn’t really planning on it. The company was planning on making this a new strategy to reach emerging markets with a non-compromise experience, and it has reached that to a certain level. It’s hard to tell if Nokia is doing enough to sell the phone the way it should, but at least we notice that the company does want to fix some of the major issues many hate about it.

One of the biggest complaints about the current Nokia X is its home button. According to many users, the user experience isn’t at all intuitive. Most of these complaints are focused on the home button, which doesn’t necessarily do a good job in always taking you home when you press and hold, or in most cases, users just don’t figure that out initially. Nokia is apparently planning on giving this device a dedicated home button, which would definitely solve a lot of the basic user complains.

Obviously, this is for the next Nokia X, so if you’re currently not enjoying the way your device works, it’s hard to tell if the company will come out with something smarter. But hey, at least we hear a new Nokia X is in the works, right?
