The HTC One mini 2 will surely arrive, sooner or later, that’s for sure, and that’s about the only sure thing we know so far, judging by the company’s last year release schedule and policy. Yes, we’ve seen alleged press renders leak, and we’ve also heard chatter about its purported specs (4.5-inch 720p screen, Snapdragon 400 SoC, 13-megapixel camera replacing), but until HTC officially unveils it, it’s still in the “rumor” category.
That, however, didn’t stop two retailers from Finland from listing the device, and tentatively leaking the HTC One mini 2 pricing. Keep in mind that usually these prices (and listings) are placeholders, and they’re more than likely to change. What we have now is a €522,90 and a €521,70 price, which roughly translates to $725, for the unlocked device. We’re pretty sure, judging by both the rumors, and last year’s experience with the One mini, that the One mini 2 will be as premium of a phone as the One (M8) is, and a higher price-point is to be expected; we’re just not sure whether the $700 plus tag will be the real deal, and, if yes, how well it will sell.
