iOS 7.1 code reveals that Siri will reach the new Apple TV?

Siri may not be perfect when it comes to being a true virtual assistant, but we can’t deny that Apple started a new trend with it. Instead of being a simple voice command application, Siri can actually assist you in getting certain tasks done with your phone since the launch of the iPhone 4s. Those of you interested in getting this service on other devices beyond the iPhone and iPad are probably in for a treat.

Rumors have it that Apple is going to bundle Siri on its next-generation Apple TV, though many of us ask ourselves how. Apple has been rumored to revamp the Apple TV this year, as the current design has been in the market for almost three years, and we wonder if Apple plans to give you the functionality through the remote control. The source for these rumors lies on iOS 7.1 code, where a product number 3 is being listed under Siri commands, and which has historically belonged to the Apple TV line-up, ever since it depends on iOS to run.

This should be good news for those of us that actually use an Apple TV, as we’re sure you’ve felt the UI to be quite cumbersome in its excessive simplicity. We’ll most likely see this new Apple TV land during the fall music event as well.
