iWatch to sport an LG-built OLED display and various size options in 2014
The amount of rumors surrounding the iWatch have gotten more intense lately. We’ve heard of Apple betting significantly on both health and fitness in ways that could revolutionize the already existing industry. Instead of just providing you with a fitness tracker, Apple is rumored to provide you with an actual health tool, which is also fashionable as well, and more rumors continue to point to that.
New rumors point to LG being the only supplier that’ll build Apple’s iWatch displays, all based on OLED technology. The rumors are consistent with previous reports that we’ll see a 1.3-inch and 1.5-inch iWatch launched at the same time, both to serve the needs of different customer preferences. Rumors also point to a possible launch this fall, along with a next generation iPhone and iPad at the same time, and that this will be Apple’s biggest product to be launched during the end of the year.
With Apple’s launch of HealthBook, as one of the probable key features of iOS 8, the service will not be useful without a wearable device, so it’s hard to believe on a such a late launch, but at this point anything can happen.
