Motorola Mobility names Rick Osterloh as President and COO
There are a couple of more changes in place over at Motorola, like naming Rick Osterloh as President and COO or Motorola Mobility. As per the official Motorola Blog, Rick Osterloh assumes the role immediately and will report, until the Lenovo acquisition is completed, to the Motorola Operating Board at Google.
Over the past two years, Rick Osterloh “has been leading all product management” at Motorola, but he has also worked at Skype until Microsoft decided to acquire the company. Meanwhile, Jonathan Rosenberg — who stepped in as COO on April 1, following Dennis Woodside’s departure for a Dropbox COO position — will continue to remain a “Google liaison and advisor to Motorola until the Lenovo deal is being finalized.
