Cyanogen Inc. new identity revealed, as the company is slightly rebranding

CyanogenMod went commercial back in September, Cyanogen Inc. was formed, and we have since heard of the team being hard at work on bringing their take on Android to phones like the Oppo N1, and others. However, as the company explains, it is growing, and, in order to reflect that, and the direction it’s heading in, it needs an evolution of its brand.

What you see above is the new official logo for Cyanogen Inc. There’s more to it than just a logo, the graphic reflects, as you see below, the three key pillars it is built upon: customization, security, and open source. …but theres also a secondary meaning to that, with the user being at the center, the C representing the Community, and the arrow that points forward. Don’t worry, CID is not gone! “Cid belongs to the community, he is yours, not the company’s”.
