Moto G Forte in Mexico is just a regular Moto G with a back cover

No, we’re not seeing a new phone from Motorola, and it’s not some sort of ruggedized version of the Moto G we all know. However, there’s a bit of a difference in both the naming (with the addition of the “Forte” moniker), and what you get in the package, if you live in Mexico, and you’re on Nextel.

Expect nothing different from the Moto G Forte than the regular Moto G, but with a back cover; it’s actually the Grip Shell, and it comes out of the box, otherwise setting you back around $15. In addition, they’re also throwing in 50GB of Google Drive space. While there’s no word on the bundle/version being available in other regions, if you’re in Mexico, you can find out more details at the source links below.
