Renderings based on leaked iPhone 6 schematics look interesting

We’re not really fans of posting concept photos, and we’re sure you’ve noticed. Not every concept you’ll see is either possible, or worth the time invested if it’ll most probably never happen. Still, we ran across some concept designs today that are actually based on some solid Apple data, and which could reveal what to expect for the iPhone 6.

These renders were designed based on the recently leaked schematics that we discovered last week for the iPhone 6. We’re still not sure if this is they belong to the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, or the 5.5-inch model, but given the fact that these resemble the iPhone 5c in a way, we could be looking at the bigger iPhone 6 phablet. An interesting part of the design is the glass back, which could point to the fact that Apple may be considering sapphire panels for the back of the iPhone as well, though that’s hard to confirm with a concept.

We’re expecting Apple to unveil its next-generation iPhone in June, or probably September. Whatever the case may be, if it looks like these concept images, then we’re looking at a hot redesign.
