Billy Joel and Jimmy Fallon sing with an iPad, Tim Cook approves

There’s nothing like ending your week with a smile, and there are a couple of things out there that do just that. A lot of people criticized Steve Jobs for calling the iPad magical during its announcement in 2010, and even though there is much room for debate in that statement, we can’t deny that it’s done a good job in making computers fun. Those of you fans of the Tonight Show might have enough of a laugh with the jokes, but Jimmy Fallon played a number yesterday that went the extra mile.

Jimmy Fallon was joined by Billy Joel last night, and at the end of the interview, Fallon fulfilled his dream of singing with Joel in a duet. You’d think that they would use the band to do this, but no, Fallon decided to pull an iPad on the scene and use an app called Loopy HD to help them with a doo-wop. They decided to sing “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, which was very popular in the 60s, and which we’ll admit, played out nicely as they kept recording the loops on the iPad.

The scene made such a headline, that Tim Cook has already caught the video and decided to re-tweet it, and you’ve got to admit that they did pull a funny scene there worth ending your Friday with.
