While some felt that iOS 7 was a much needed revamp from Apple’s already aging mobile operating system, not many people actually liked what they received. It was even well documented that some people were actually complaining about the whole Parallax effect causing them to feel motion sickness while using the phone. None of us actually experienced any of these issues to agree, but it seems that Apple took matters to heart and focused on fixing the problem.
As per iOS 7.1, you’ll notice that there are additional switches and controls to make the UI less hostile to you senses. You could do this as of iOS 7.0.3, but many didn’t like the fact that animations were “all or nothing” meaning that if you disabled things, you would disable everything, and some only had a problem with the parallax. As of iOS 7.1 you can control almost every aspect of the UI through the Accessibility settings.
Obviously this doesn’t solve the many other rants that some have with the UI, but then hey, you can’t make everybody happy can you? It’s hard for us to judge the changes as good, as again, none of us felt sick about it, so please be the judge for us in the comments.
