The amount of rumors going around about the future of the iPhone have gone wild in the last couple of weeks. We’ve been hearing reports of Apple building two iPhones this year again, and one of these being a phablet. Now given the fact that Apple has never been big on building anything that doesn’t allow one-handed usability, we’ve been wanting to hear more about this project, and more rumors have just shipped in.
Credible sources claim that the iPhone 6 phablet will actually look more like the iPhone 5c than the iPhone 5s. That said, the source claims that it will only look like the iPhone 5c, but not actually feel like it, as this phone will use anodized aluminum in its design, and not the polycarbonate that we currently see on the iPhone 5c. Another interesting tip here is that apparently this phablet will be the higher-end model, and not the smaller iPhone that’s also in the works. This smaller iPhone won’t be as small as the current one though, as the source also claims that the regular iPhone will have a 4.7-inch display, and the phablet a 5.7-inch display.
We know Apple has a lot of pressure to launch these phones by mid-year, and we’re hoping that’s the case. We’ll keep you posted as more rumors surface.
