One of the main selling points (and points of critique at the same time) of the HTC One was the “UltraPixel” camera, with a smaller sensor (of four-megapixels), but with a large physical dimension, allowing for better low-light performance. HTC has already published not one, but two teasers for the upcoming One follow-up, and the third one just recently landed. It might answer some of our questions on whether the next One will sport an UltraPixel camera, or not. Of course, HTC could be misleading us, but “the new HTC One has added”… a secondary camera?
You check out the video below, and, after looking at the most recent leaks of the phone, tell us what you think is the reason/utility for the secondary camera. Could it be a macro system? Could it snap the same picture with different settings and then the software would superimpose the two resulting stills for a better looking photograph? It’s all up for speculation until HTC unveils the true meaning.
