More leaks point to an iPhone 6 without bezels?
We’ve heard a ton of rumors of Apple planning an iPhone with a larger display for this year. We’ve seen leaks of a bigger housing in different sources, but we’ve also debated them since Cupertino is reluctant to sacrifice one-handed usability of every iPhone the company has launched since 2007. New reports seem to point that the company is also experimenting with other alternatives, and these could make a little more sense.
Chinese forum WeiPhone has just posted some pictures of the digitizer from the iPhone 4s, iPhone 5s and the possible iPhone 6. You’ll notice that the bezels on this display disappear from the sides, and are significantly smaller than on previous iPhone models. That being said, keep in mind that this black coating is just a paint job that can easily be removed with minor effort, and that could make any iPhone 5 display look the way the leaks point.
Whatever the case may be, Apple’s pressure to increase the size of its next iPhone is huge. We know the company is famous for testing many prototypes before actually launching a device, so a lot could be on the table for the iPhone 6.
