With the occasion of the Huawei special event, where multiple devices have seen the light of day, we were told, multiple times, some of the reasons why the Huawei MediaPad X1 is better than the competition, and, the iPad Mini with Retina Display as well as the Nexus 7 2013 have been specifically mentioned.

To be completely honest, we’re looking more at an ASUS FonePad competitor, but then again the MediaPad X1 has the phone capabilities that set it aside from the Apple and LG-made Google Nexus 7 slates (under 104mm wide, with a mass of 239g). It is bar far the smallest in terms of dimensions among the devices in its class and has good specifications: there’s a 1.6GHz quad-core SoC, 1920×1200 resolution, 5,000mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD, 13MP camera, 5MP webcam as well as LTE support.
