Sony Xperia Z2 is the tentative name for the company’s upcoming phone, with model number D6503 and codename “Sirius”; it is believed that Sony will unveil this phone, together maybe with a Windows Phone (and who knows, the Xperia Tablet Z’s follow-up), at its upcoming special event in Barcelona, at the 2014 MWC. We’ve seen a very blurry image claiming to depict the Z2, with a super thin bezel on the sides. Now, a set of alleged Sony Xperia Z2 screenshots tries to anticipate some of the phone’s software features.
4K video, alongside 60fps 1080p, recording capabilities are hinted by the screenshots, as well as a 15.5MP resolution for stills in manual mode. You can also find some screenshots of the Creative Camera Effects at the source link below.
If the rumors are to be believed, the Xperia Z1′s follow-up will not bring huge improvements to the spec-sheet. A 5.2-inch display with TRILUMINOS technology is expected, alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB or RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 20.7MP camera. Android 4.4.2 is also rumored to be on the phone, alongside a slightly improved Sony UI on top of it.
