The Google Play Edition version of the HTC One has received its Android 4.4.2 KitKat treat mid-December last year, and the European unlocked model, alongside other versions, including some American carrier variants, have started getting the refresh over-the-air at the end of last month.
According to recent user reports, the Indian HTC One is currently getting the same update to Android 4.4.2 over-the-air. We’re looking at a 330MB file than brings the same enhancements like in the case of the European model — meaning the OS version bump, cloud printing service, new Bluetooth profiles — but we’re also seeing the omission from the change log of the removal of Flash Player support, something specifically mentioned in the 4.19.401.8 build.
You can manually check for the update’s presence by going into settings, or you can wait for the notification to reach your phone (which could take some time as roll-out of updates is usually happening in stages).
