The Black Edition Galaxy S 4 and S4 Mini phones have been announced by Samsung at the end of January for the Russian market. At that point, we were not sure whether the two old phones with a new look will ever see a widespread availability. However, if you’re in the UK, you can grab one of these two soon.
Aside from the faux stitched leather look on the back, the two phones pack the same specs as their original variants. There’s a Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.9 GHz on the S4, alongside a five-inch Full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 13MP main shooter, and the usual suspects, with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating it. There’s a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7GHz on the S4 mini, a 4.3-inch qHD screen, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, eight-megapixel camera, and 1,900 mAh battery, with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on top.
You will however find additional wallpapers and ringtones preinstalled on the phones. Pricing and exact availability have not yet been announced.
