We all remember what Samsung did with the ATIV S: the South Korean phone-maker took the Galaxy S III and slapped Windows Phone on it. It later made its way, more or less, to Verizon as the ATIV Odyssey. Apparently that’s a move that worked out quite well, as Samsung is preparing to repeat the stunt: we’ve been consistently hearing about the SM-W750V, and there was strong indication that it might soon land on Verizon with the codename Huron.
Now this Huron is exactly what you see above, according to @evleaks, in this Samsung Huron press render. If it looks exactly like your Galaxy S 4, you shouldn’t be too surprised. However, it will be a Windows Phone 8.1-powered device, so expect it no earlier than Q2. Nokia is rumored to show off an entire family of Windows Phone 8.1 devices at MWC, so Samsung, despite not being a huge player in the Windows Phone game, couldn’t let that happen. We’re yet to hear about HTC’s Windows Phone 8.1 plans, as we all love diversity, don’t we?
One important thing: we can’t see the compulsory camera button!
