Load of new Lumia Icon accessories leak; so where’s the darn phone?

If we’re to believe one analysis of a recent leak, the Nokia Lumia Icon for Verizon (aka the Lumia 929) could launch as soon as tomorrow. Then again, it might not be launching until March 5. Or heck, it could even be some other date that’s yet to emerge as a probable contender. But one way or another, this phone simply needs to make its debut – we’ve been tracking leaks of the hardware going back a solid four months now. Until Verizon makes its announcement, we’ve got yet another sign of the Icon’s pending launch to look at, with a number of case accessories showing up in some new photos.

As you may remember, we got our first look at an Icon case just about a month ago, right around the same time we first got confirmation of this unprecedented move for the Lumia series away from number-based names. We see some additional cases from the same manufacturer today, but maybe even more importantly, cases and screen protectors packaged in full Verizon branding, as if they’re all ready to appear on an in-store display.

Does that point to an imminent launch? We’d buy it, even if those rumors about a Feb/March 5 launch are a little shaky (the date comes from a render we first saw in October); maybe no launch this week, and maybe not even next week, but soon – it has to be soon.
