Before we’ve seen the alleged pictures of the upcoming LG G Pro 2, to be unveiled in Barcelona, the manufacturer itself took it to its own social page to let the world know that the Optimus G Pro sequel will indeed be found on the MWC show floor. Now, that very same social page is unveiling more information about the soon-to-be-released phablet: the camera, specifically.
A 13MP OIS Plus camera will be placed on the back of the phablet. As a reminder, the LG G2 also featured a 13MP shooter with optical image stabilization which did a great job. Apparently, according to LG, the G Pro 2 will have an improved stabilization system, dubbed OIS Plus, but it will build upon the already existing OIS on the G2. LG developed an additional way of stabilizing stills, this time, a software one, on top of the hardware OIS. Sharper images are being promised.
Additional creativity tools and functionalities will also be added, like a burst-shot mode that will combine 20 frames into a single image, slow motion video, as well as 4K recording capabilities for videos with 3840 x 2160 resolution, all this being packed in a new camera interface.
We’ll be there at MWC to bring you all the juicy details and are looking forward to meeting the G Pro 2.
