Ever since the launch of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c we’ve seen every US carrier fight a hard battle in offering the best deals possible to gain new iPhone customers. From gift cards, to discounts, to additional incentives, we’ve seen aggressive things can get. Still, if you thought the holiday discounts were good, there’s a new one that’s just unbeatable.
Virgin Mobile has just announced that it’s slashing the unsubsidized price of the 16GB iPhone 5s to $459.99, which is down from the usual $649.99 that you’ll see everywhere else. In the case of the 16GB iPhone 5c this is even sweeter at $359.99, down from the usual $549.99 that everybody else offers. Now, even though you’ll see Virgin Mobile devices on every Best Buy, this iPhone deal is a web exclusive in case you’re interested.
Just keep in mind that this is not really an unlocked phone, as Virgin Mobile is part of Sprint’s CDMA network. They do offer some interesting pre-paid deals that start at $35 per month though, so if Sprint does a good job in your area, this is a good time to get your iPhone of choice.
