It’s no secret the LG Optimus G Pro from last year will get a refresh at the upcoming MWC. The arrival of the LG G Pro 2 has been hinted by the manufacturer itself but it looks like we don’t have to wait until the Barcelona show kicks-off to see the device. We can see exactly what LG has up its sleeve to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note III, thanks to this recent LG G Pro 2 leak.
In-line with the current design principles of the G2, this alleged G Pro 2 also features the back-mounted buttons, underneath the camera. There’s also a flash and a speaker grill on the back, but we’re unfortunately missing images of the front, just like we’re missing any information accompanying these stills.
However, the initial report from Korea hinted that the G Pro 2 will likely pack a larger, six-inch, Full HD display. It would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and feature 3GB of RAM. Android 4.4 KitKat will be shipping out of the box — though we expect units on the MWC show floor to run an earlier version — and LTE / LTE-A capabilities should also be in.
