A lot of Apple’s recent rumors and patents are starting to make sense when you start considering the recent iPhone 6 rumors. For starters, in a recent interview with ABC, Tim Cook revealed that the manufacturing company that Apple purchased in Mesa, Arizona was to produce Sapphire glass. We also have a lot of Apple patents that include solar charging technologies, and recent hires in the company include specialists focused on solar panels and charging.
Seeking Alpha analysts have now began to connect the dots with all the recent rumors of a bigger iPhone, and the idea of merging sapphire glass with solar panels to keep an iPhone charged have begun to make sense. When you add the idea of a bigger phone in order to allow more solar panels and a bigger battery, and the idea doesn’t seem far-fetched.
iPhones have never been famous for battery life performance, so this could be a great focus point for Apple’s next-generation product. We’ll keep you posted as more news develop.
