Update: The same person posted this Twitter update: “Samsung isnt sure about place/date of sgs5 anounce after yesterday leak :))) they think about London again, info will be in a few days :)”. Now, this could be true, or Eldar Murtazin could take us all for idiots.
The latest rumors about the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S 5 hint towards February 23, at least according to Eldar Murtazin. This would put Samsung back on the MWC show floor after missing the Barcelona show for two years in a row. The same person took more details to Twitter, claiming that the date mentioned earlier is indeed correct.
According to Murtazin, he claims to have received an official invitation to a Samsung event that will take place on the day of the Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony, which is February 23. Murtazin also claims that more details will be unveiled next week, when the masses will receive the official invitation. We will find out in a couple of days; meanwhile you can read about our wishes for the Samsung Galaxy S 5.
In case Samsung really decides to come back to Barcelona for the flagship launch, we will be there, on-site, to bring you all the juicy details regarding the 2014 flagship.
