It might not look at all like the resin-printed 3D mockup model we’ve seen earlier (heck, this mockup might not look anything like the final product to start with), but we surely wish HTC would build a phone like the one we see above. It is a concept made by Nikolai Prettner which tries to anticipate (with a wishful thinking twist) the looks of the M8-codenamed HTC One for 2014 (tentatively called either the One 2, One Two, or One Plus).
On to the concept render: there’s a larger, five-inch-ish screen on the phone, with minimal bezels, in order to keep the footprint relatively unchanged. The capacitive buttons for Home and Back have been moved from the bottom of the phone onto the screen, and a new, multitasking button also made its appearance. BoomSound, HTC’s signature for the One, has been retained, and the camera on the back has received an additional LED flash.
Without going into details about the internals, let us know how would you imagine the 2014 HTC One? Is the above concept attractive enough for you?
