From an unknown project, to the most powerful and versatile operating system on the planet, Android has proven its impact on society. Back in 2008 we were all skeptical of covering Android here at Pocketnow, and boy are we glad we gave it a chance. With over one million activations a day, it’s by far the most powerful OS in mobile, and it would even be safe to say that in history.
Still, it’s been a rocky road to the top. This versatility is what has given Android its rightful crown as the king of mobile, and is what will likely keep it there.
All that being said, Android is not perfect. There nature of this beast has made it one of the most complex services out there and there is still a lot of things we’d wish Android could figure out. Watch today’s Top 5 as we go through our wish list of things we’d love to see Google improve about its beloved mobile operating system for 2014.
