The Nokia Normandy is still making waves after we’ve just seen the phone allegedly powered on for the first time. If you need a kind reminder, it’s the phone which looks like an Asha phone, but it should run some sort of custom Android (read forked) build. A recent device leak not only shows off a rather large color palette to choose from, but also a very Windows Phone-like user interface.
There aren’t many details except that it should be landing this year (our bet is MWC 2014) and that the press render above seems to mimic the good old “Metro UI” from Microsoft’s platform, maybe in Nokia’s attempt to try and keep the user experience standardized across its portfolio of devices.
